Do I still need a water softener if my water is hard?
Yes. Our WCFM500K whole house water filter does not reduce hardness. It is recommended to install a water softener, such as the iSpring WCS45KG model, after this system.

Can I drink water from tap after installing this whole house water filtration system?
This whole house water filtration will alter the chemical properties of the filtered water, slightly increasing pH and TDS. We suggest adding a reverse osmosis system to your drinking water line for top-notch drinking water.

Can I use this system if I’m on well water or other natural water sources?
Yes, but for safe use, it's vital to disinfect questionable water. Also, avoid phosphates and organics as they can damage the filter media.
